Queen Elizabeth Park

Queen Elizabeth Park stretches over 54 hectares and known to be Vancouver’s “Horticulture jewel”. Downtown Vancouver

OPAL’s shuttle and chauffeured town car will take resident groups or couples to Stanley Park and the Vancouver Aquarium, the seawall, the Orpheum, Queen Elizabeth Theatre, The Centre for Performing Arts, Holts and Nordstrom, and Edgewater Casino. Many of these amenities also just a few stops, and then within short walking distance via Canada Line.

Science World

Located at the end of False Creek, Science world offers exhibits and displays for all ages.

Oakridge

Currently undergoing redevelopment, Oakridge will consist of nearly 1 million square feet of new retail, including an outdoor shopping street, High Street, cafés and restaurants spilling out onto the street which ill enliven the community after the interior retail closes for the day. There will be also a new 36,000 square-foot community centre/seniors’ centre, Childcare, and library.

The Hillcrest Centre

In 2010 named Vancouver Olympic/ Paralympic Centre. Located at Hillcrest Park, it features a state-of-the-art aquatic centre, curling rinks, fitness center, Phoenix Gymnastics Club, gymnasium, childcare centre, and a café.

Riley Park & Nat Bailey Stadium

Home of the Vancouver Canadians baseball team, this is a field where families congregate to watch the kids play.

English Bay

The beach is the most popular sunset watching beach in the downtown Vancouver area. The “Celebration of lights” is an annual summer fireworks competition that residents of OPAL will be able to view from our rooftop garden.

University of British Columbia

The beautiful campus of this world class institution is renowned for the Museum of Anthropology, Botanical Gardens, Rose Garden and the Chan Centre, and the Endowment Lands.
